TV productions require stills photos as both action props and dressing props,

action props are often to be used

as leading plot devices.

Pictures framed on set; a publicity shot for a poster or book jacket or in a national magazine or local newspaper; surveillance images; a messaged photo sent on a phone or a series of photos in a photo album on a tablet... all these images need creating with technical photographic and photoshop skills and a reference as to who might have taken the photograph and even what type/era of camera may have been used
